Webcast with CareContent: Virtual Care at Rush Health
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, virtual care is having quite the moment. While debates continue about the cost/payment and appropriate use of virtual care (not to mention HIPAA regulations), it is an access tool that health care providers cannot ignore the value of.
The robustness of provider virtual care programs can vary and sometimes depends on the level of organizational investment in telehealth overall. But knowing where/how to start and what to expect is a good first step. CEO of CareContent, Kadesha Thomas Smith, and Founder of Creative CoStrat Lab, Camille Strickland, caught up with Dr. Anthony Perry, MD, Vice President of Ambulatory Transformation at Rush University Medical Center. He shared learnings from his team's journey to develop a virtual care experience pre-COVID-19, and also shared how they have shifted to manage care during the global pandemic. You can check out part one of the conversation below and the entire conversation here.
